Bing Go Jung Dessert House (Bukit Timah Plaza)

Bing Go Jung is run by actual koreans. Ed and I discovered it when we were at Bukit Timah Plaza.

They offer a good variety of item in their menu.

We ordered the Injeolmi BingSu ($11)- shaved ice, condensed milk, sliced almond, soy bean powder and injeolmi(Korean rice cake that is coated in roasted soy bean powder) served in a heavy gold bowl. I love it a lot! This is my first time trying it out. It's like a Korean version of Ice Kachang but is has just the right amount of sweetness. It's cool which is perfect for Singapore's all year round summer weather.

Here you can see that the BingSu is layered so that every bite till the end has all the component. My favourtie is the chewy rice cake that resembles mochi! It does feel a little like a Ice Kachang version of Muah Chee.

Both Ed and I love this place and would not mind coming back again even though it's really far from where we stay.

Rate:
Injeolmi BingSu: 9.5/10 ☺
