Marché Restaurant (313@Somerset)

Went to Marché Restaurant for the first time! They way things run in this restaurant is different from your typical kind. It's more like your usual hawker center where there are a few stalls for you to order but instead of paying cash to the stall directly, you pay it to the cashier when you leave. At the entrance you will receive a card which you give the stall to swipe when you purchase your food. At the end of your meal you give this card to the cashier and pay before exiting the place.

Plain Rosti ($7.40)- Pan-fried till crispy on the outside, served with a generous topping of sour cream, spring onions and lemon. I heard a lot of people raving about how good their rosti was and here I am finally trying it. I have to admit it really is good. Crisp on the outside and well cooked all the way through. They gave a generous amount of sour cream which is hard to see in the picture above. The lemon helped cut some of the oiliness. The dish was well seasoned. Overall yummy. I will be back for more when the time comes.

Rate:
Plain Rosti: 8/10 ☺
